Anatomy, Breath & Biomechanics Workshop

This manual is designed to deepen your understanding of the human body beyond memorized anatomy and textbook movement.

Through the integration of anatomy, breath mechanics, biomechanics, and movement observation, you’ll learn to see the body as a connected, responsive system. We’ll explore how breath influences the nervous system, pressure, posture, stability, and movement—and how individual structure and patterns shape the way each person moves.

The goal is not to teach one “perfect” way to move. It is to sharpen your eye, strengthen your understanding, and give you the tools to coach the body in front of you with greater precision, confidence, and intention.

Built from over 30 years of experience in movement and wellness, this workshop bridges education with real-life application—because great teaching goes far beyond exercises.

Learn the anatomy. Understand the mechanics. See the person.

Anatomy & Attachments with Dr. Randee Hunter

This workshop takes anatomy beyond memorization and into a deeper understanding of how the body is structurally connected.

Co-led by Sara Ortlip and Dr. Randee Hunter of The Ohio State University, we’ll explore muscular origins, insertions, and anatomical attachments—and how these relationships influence movement, stability, and function. By understanding where structures begin, where they attach, and how they work together, you’ll develop a clearer lens for observing and teaching the body in front of you.

Designed for movement professionals and instructors who want to strengthen their anatomical foundation, this workshop bridges academic knowledge with practical application.

Know the structures. Understand the attachments. See movement differently.

Pelvic Floor Workshop with Nurse Emily Knife

This workshop brings clarity, education, and real conversation to one of the body’s most important—and often misunderstood—systems: the pelvic floor.

Co-led by Sara Ortlip and Nurse Emily Knife, we’ll explore pelvic floor anatomy, function, pressure management, breath, and the connection between the core and the rest of the body. You’ll gain a deeper understanding of how the pelvic floor responds to movement, exercise, and everyday life—and why symptoms should never simply be ignored or normalized.

Designed to build awareness and confidence, this workshop bridges clinical education with practical movement application, giving you a stronger foundation for understanding and supporting the body in front of you.

Understand the system. Recognize the signs. Move and teach with greater awareness.
