Lucy

Pilates Instructor

Lucy's Pilates story starts exactly where the best ones do — on a dorm room floor with her friends, a laptop, and a YouTube video. What began as a college pastime turned into something she couldn't shake. The practice stayed with her long after graduation, quietly waiting for the moment it would become more than a hobby.

That moment came in 2024 when Lucy began working with Sara as an understudy. One thing led to another — as it tends to with Pilates — and here she is having completed her mat and reformer certifications with SOP.

Her path to Pilates has been anything but linear, which is exactly what makes Lucy interesting. She spent years in corporate fashion merchandising before trading dress codes for grip socks. Lucy began teaching Inferno Hot Pilates in 2021 — this was the first time she realized sharing movement with other people was something she was genuinely made for.

What Lucy loves most about Pilates is its staying power. It is not a phase or a trend — it is a lifelong practice that helps people feel genuinely connected to themselves, mentally and physically. She brings that belief into every class she teaches.

When not teaching Pilates, Lucy runs a cleaning business with her husband. She is a born-and-raised Columbus girl with a creative soul and a wardrobe to prove it. She expresses herself through her outfits and her social media with equal enthusiasm. When she is not teaching you will find her walking, gardening, traveling, or doing exactly what she loves most — being with the people she loves.

Fun fact: Lucy and Jill are related, Jill is Lucy’s aunt!
